is the Niles Chamber of Commerce?
The Niles Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) is a not-for-profit
organization made up of local businesses, professional and organizations
working together to contribute to the business development and economic
climate of the Village. Although the Chamber is not a department of the
Village of Niles, it works closely with government to ensure that Niles
is the best place to live, work and to do business.
Who
are the Chamber's Members?
Chamber of Commerce members are businesses or organizations concerned
with the social and economic climate of Niles. They believe in giving
back to the community and understand that collectively they can achieve
so much more. The Chamber encourages residents and businesses to shop
our members. They stand behind their work and typically are active within
the community.
Who
leads the Chamber?
The Niles Chamber is lead by its members. They elect a Board of Directors
who volunteer their time, determines policies and sets goals. A president
presides over all meetings. The day-to-day activities are handled by an
executive director and staff. Many volunteers serve on committees which
contribute to the Chamber's success.
